Martin Dobson Associates

Martin Dobson Associates was founded by Dr Martin Dobson (BSc DPhil FArborA) in 1997.

We seek to provide a quick, professional and ethical service to clients and promote best practice in tree management.

 After completing a postgraduate degree in tree physiology Martin worked for the Foresty Commission at its research station at Alice Holt Lodge, Surrey for 8 years. He then spent 2 years working for the Arboricultural Advisory and Information Service. During this time he worked on a number of government sponsored research programmes and wrote over 30 scientific and technical publications (two examples shown). Since founding Martin Dobson Associates clients have included local authorities, solicitors, lawyers, developers, insurance companies, loss adjusters, architects, product suppliers, examining boards, universities and private individuals.
